Operational & Strategic PMO, internal position with lots of international contacts!

This young multinational has grown rapidly, employing more than 25,000 people in less than 30 years! Their activities are spread out globally and the IT-team is organised in the same manner. As they continue to expand there’s an increase in practices, policies and tools. Therefore they are looking for a new member to the PMO-team to work from the office in Brussels.

As PMO you join a team of 4 PMO-specialists. This team is responsible for the portfolios, for governance meetings, and for defining procedures, amongst others. The responsibilities of this team continuously increase and the Project Management Officers work on both an operational as well as a strategic level. They implement and monitor the correct application and compliance of project related procedures, reporting and tools. The team takes the lead in changes related to PMO-Services, organises training and training material, coaches the super users and project managers, analyses requests and initiates/disapproves projects, and is responsible for the PPM-tool suite administration. They also create and maintain portfolio/management dashboards, scorecards and key indicators.

Relevant experience in PMO on an operational and strategic level.
Experience in Project Portfolio Management tool(s) administration is a must.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Experience in a transcontinental and remote project environment.
Experience with agile scrum and notions of the waterfall project methodology.
Flexible as to be able to join a fast-moving environment, in which decisions are made quickly.
Due date- and customer focussed.
