General Accounting Officer, intern te Brussel

This company belongs to the top automotive companies in Europe and is active worldwide in more than 40 countries. In Belgium they are represented from the Brussels office by 250 employees. They are looking for a General Accounting Officer.

As General Accounting Officer you will join the accounting department and report to the Accounting & Tax Manager. You will be responsible for examining and analysing accounting records and accounts in order to assess accuracy and completeness, and to spot irregularities. You prepare monthly closings and support the planning and control department. You are responsible for mandatory structure surveys and for preparing the annual financial accounts. You are the back up for VAT-registration and control, monthly intra-community VAT-listing, tax declaration and for the follow up of VAT-accounts.

You have a degree in Tax/Accountancy.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Good knowledge of tax.
You speak both Dutch and French.
You have excellent knowledge of Excel.
You are a positive minded and curious individual who is willing to learn continuously!
