Expert/Project Manager Sustainable Building projects – Brussels, Belgium

My client, a fast growing company providing software and consultancy for renewable energy solutions, smart buildings and sites and the effectiveness of (power/city) grids. The company covers various domains within Sustainability but for this position they are looking for an passionate expert in the field of sustainable energy concepts for construction projects. They are very keen to get someone on board who has a strong background in project management and consultancy, preferably with a network in real estate companies.

in this role you will:
• Acts as technical expert
• Act as project manager on assigned projects
• You create and present sustainable energy concepts as well as strategies/suggestions for innovation of structures and large scale projects. You will do this working closely together with your fellow team members.
• From the start of designing till after commissioning you will be expected to stay involved and provide technical expertise to help them achieve their sustainable plans
• You are expected to manage your projects fully, you will be involved from start to finish: e.g. you will hunt for opportunities, consult on the details and scale of projects and you will be creating an offers to present to clients.
• You will be responsible for the planning of the resources, the timelines, the quality targets and the various costs related to your project

Background:
• (Architect) Engineer or a comparable level gained through experience
• Several years’ experience with energy efficiency concepts and sustainable building projects
• Knowledge of dynamic simulation tools
• Preferably certified in BREEAM, EPB and/or PHPP
• Proven client facing and presentation skills
• Dutch and/or French are mandatory. Fluent English is strongly preferred
• Willingness to travel internationally if needed
